This Privacy Policy explains how Ferocity handles information in its workout tracking app for Android and iOS.
Ferocity stores workout records, exercise selections, sets, repetitions, weights, routines, goals, training notes, settings and athlete-profile details in application storage on your device. These records support workout logging, progress displays, routines and fitness recommendations. Health-platform access is not required to log workouts.
With your choice and the relevant device permissions, Ferocity can access information from Health Connect on Android or Apple Health on iOS. Depending on the platform, connected sources and enabled categories, this can include activity and workout type and timing, heart rate, distance, calories, speed, elevation, cadence, power, daily steps, weight, body-fat percentage and height. Supported Android configurations can also import basal metabolic rate; equivalent direct BMR import is not supported on iOS.
Ferocity uses this information for health and fitness purposes: showing imported activities, matching workouts, displaying workout-related measurements and activity summaries, and showing optional profile measurements. When enabled and permitted, it can also export workouts created in Ferocity to the connected health platform. Not every device or source provides every measurement, and data may be incomplete or delayed.
We do not use health information obtained through Health Connect or HealthKit for targeted advertising, and do not sell that information to data brokers or advertisers.
Ferocity stores workout data and selected health-derived summaries within its local application storage. Its user-created portable backup excludes certain health-provider identities and cached physiological, body-measurement and daily-step records, but may include workout history and profile information. This exclusion does not apply to every type of data or backup.
Your operating system may back up local app information through device-level backup services, subject to the device, release configuration and your settings. Backups and files you explicitly export or share may be stored with destinations you select, and may contain personal workout or profile details. You are responsible for choosing trusted destinations.
Ferocity offers optional subscriptions using Apple App Store or Google Play billing and RevenueCat subscription infrastructure. Those services may process purchase status, transaction or entitlement identifiers and information needed to provide and troubleshoot subscriptions, subject to their respective privacy practices. They are not the health-record storage service for Ferocity.
Your mobile operating system and connected health providers manage their own records and permissions. For details, consult the privacy notices of RevenueCat, Apple and Google.
You may use Ferocity without connecting a health service. Health settings let you manage connection, selected import categories and workout export. You may revoke the app’s health permissions using the Android Health Connect or Apple Health controls. Revocation restricts future authorized access but does not necessarily erase records previously imported into Ferocity or records owned by another app or health service.
Where the app offers Remove from Ferocity for a standalone imported activity, this removes the activity from Ferocity’s history, not from the original health provider. A limited local marker may remain to prevent deliberate removals from being undone by reimport. See Health Data Management & Deletion.
Local workout and profile records ordinarily remain until removed using available app features, cleared using device app-storage controls or removed with the app, subject to operating-system behavior and retained backup copies. Disconnecting a health provider or uninstalling Ferocity does not automatically delete source-owned health records, exported files, app-store purchase records or separate backups. Subscription and transaction records may also be retained by the stores and subscription service under their own policies and legal obligations.
For help with information Ferocity handles or a privacy request, email ferocityapp@gmail.com. Please do not send unnecessary medical information, payment card details or passwords.
Ferocity relies on operating-system app isolation and permission controls for its on-device records. No method of storage or transfer is completely secure. Protect your device and exported files. Ferocity is designed as a general fitness tool, not specifically for children.
We may update this policy to reflect changed practices and will update its effective date. Additional notice will be provided when required by applicable law.
